Thanks Jo for the link. I am going to put this on the top of my "must ride" ride list. It looked like you all had a great time.

I hope you can make it next year, Dea, it was a blast!

Next year's ride is scheduled for April 2, see http://www.valleyspokesmen.org/cinder.html

The photos are up from both photographers now.

"First guy" - Early in the ride just as you crossed a bridge.
www.milesphotos.com/events.asp

"Second guy" - He had about 5 cameras taking pictures of you from every angle.
www.photocrazy.com

You have to go through lots of photos, so hopefully you aren't on dial-up...

Post if you find yourself. I'd love to see everyone "in action":D .

I was so disapointed with both the Photocrazy and the Miles shots of us. The backgrounds just seemed bland. Makes me glad I had my own private photographer along to record my first organized ride as a tandem captain. ;)

Jo, what are you using for a handlebar bag?

Thom did a great job on those pictures. I looked at the link you gave. There are some of your club members with that group of guys blurring by going the other way. Those are great shots! Does he shoot film or digital? Excellent work!

How could I not find two pirates on a tandem? I looked through lots of photos, but this is all I could come up with. I found Kim and Jo just by comparing what they were wearing in the TE group picture with.

Yeah, I really like the shots Thom got with the guys blurred in the opposite direction.

Did you notice that in some of the photocrazy shots you can see their camera? I'm so picky. :)

It's a Lone Peak Pfeiferhorn handlebar bag http://www.lonepeakpacks.com/handle.html
I bought it at Bicycle Outfitters in Los Altos. Well what do you know, I just checked their website, Outfitters is having a sale this weekend - their entire selection of bike packs are 15-40% off. Bit of a haul for you for just a handlebar bag, tho.

I noticed the cameras. But I think they can "fix" it. On their website they show examples of how they took other riders out of a picture (photoshop work or something...). I wonder if they can "fix" my picture and make me look taller...:D

I couldn't find myself (so to speak) in the Miles photos, and now seeing this, kinda wish I'd remained lost :). Thanks AG, I keep a page of "stolen" ride pictures, now I can add this.

Kim, If you can't find yourself on Miles you, like me are likely one of the many he shot on film. You can e-mail him with a description and or phot of you, it'll take a while but he'll try to find you.
