Hi y'all...thought I would let you know that a few of us Team Estrogen ladies have formed a "friend's team", entitled, of course, "Hill Slugs" to do the Trek Across Maine this year. Anyone interested in doing this benefit ride can get ride info from MaineLung.org, then "bike trek", but it is held in June each year, leaving on a Fri from Sundae River Ski Area, going 180 miles in three days and ending in Rockland. Wonderful time, fully supported, and this is 20th year. I am 9 year vet, and look forward to the challenge every year. In Maine we could have snow or blistering heat in June - so training is an adventure! Take a look and give it a try!
