I want to make my own "Share the Road" window stickers. Does anyone have any idea where to get the speciality paper to do that? I see white stickers on cars all the time with the names of schools, etc. Or do you know where I can go online to order some? I've looked online and can't find any speciality paper for making them. I just want a graphic of a cyclist and the words "Share the Road" in white. It will stand out really good on my dark tinted windows. Thanks.

Where in Texas are you? I know of a place in San Antonio that can make you one. Also I think some bike shops have them....the actual sticker. If you want it to stand out well...i would say have some place make you one. you would need a special vinal for the outside of a car window.

I'm not sure about making your own, but I had some bumper stickers made recently by this company:

It was fast and fairly inexpensive.

They have a little logo for atlantabike.org, but if you go here (http://www.atlantabike.org/) and look on the left under "Programs", click "Share The Road" and it shows a page with all kinds of stuff for sale, including stickers and licence plates.

I am desparate for bumper stickers to encourage people to be more bike friendly, so I went into a local printing shop (they print books etc in small runs and large) and asked them.
They will do bumper stickers, but only in runs of 1000 minimum and the cost is $NZ1200. I need to canvas a few shops to see if they will buy some, and I will put them on the local internet auction site - TradeMe (a bit like eBay I guess).
Just have to get my A into G - I have a few good ideas. I thought I could also offer them to the local club at cost and they could give them to all existing members and then to new members as well.
So - long story short, go find a shop that prints stuff, and they may do it for you.
