I just got this in an email, thought I'd pass it on:

(you might feel a little silly doing it.....)

How Smart Is Your Right Foot?

This is so funny that it will boggle your mind. And, you will keep trying it at least 50 more times to see if you can outsmart your foot. But you can't!!!

1. While sitting at your desk, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles with it.

2. Now, while doing this, draw the number "6" in the air with your right hand.. Your foot will change direction!!!

True, no? :p

but if you use your left hand, your right foot keeps on going.

Try your left foot and your left hand.

Too weird! (and interesting) You're right, using left hand with right foot is fine. Made me wonder... WHY?? So, I tried crossing my legs. (right on left, left on right) I can keep going clockwise with the right foot while using right hand- but I had to concentrate. So is it visually stimulated, or am I just that messed up? :D :D

Spooky. I really tried, but as soon as my right hand started the "6" motion, zoom, there went the foot, counterclockwise! I wonder what that's about?

Huh. Right foot, right hand and no change in direction.

Left foot/hand and it did change direction. And I'm left handed.

I think it's a right brain/left brain thing... I generally 'identify' as ambidextrous... right foot/left hand and left foot/right hand work fine... but right foot/right hand I reverse directions, and vice versa.

Like Knotted yet, mine kept going in the same direction...

Doing it on the left side however... I kept drawing the six in reverse or the foot would reverse. he he he

Left hand dominant. Left hand says, "Ok, now we're going this way" (counterclockwise with the 6) and left foot says "Yes, master".

But that's the only combination that makes the foot change directions for me.

Left hand changes left foot. Right hand changes right foot. And I'm left handed for fine motor, right handed for gross motor.
