I need some playlist ideas

I am going to "guest teach" a class at my local training facility. Now, I love dance music but I don't think that would go over well with this group. Can you ladies post some playlists for me?? Thanks!!!!!!!

Oh...you'd be surprised what "goes over well" in a spin class. I take a spin class with a particular instructor at my gym, twice a week. She always...and I do mean ALWAYS...uses "house" music for her classes. She gets a very diverse group, too. Old, young, middle-aged, black, white, hispanic, male, female...you name it. I've never really heard anyone ever complain about her choice of music...as long as it's pumping, we don't really care. I say...go with the dance music. You won't be able to please everyone, all of the time anyway.

Ramones--Loud and Fast. It's a greatest hits compilation and I frequently listen to it in lieu of Spinervals music when on the trainer.

Of course, don't know how the Ramones would go over in a spin class.

I used to loooove warming up to "How to Save a Life" by the Fray

Some other great warm up songs:
Badly Drawn Boy - Silent Sigh
Lali Puna - Faking the Books
Corinne Bailey Rae - Put Your Records On

However, some faster AWESOME suggestions:

Queen - Don't Stop Me Now
The National - Brainy
Crazy- Gnarls Barkley
Chemical Brothers - Surface to Air
Cake - Going the Distance
Radiohead - Weird Fishes
Postal Service - Such Great Heights
Led Zeppelin - Immigrant Song
Regina Spektor - Dance Anthem of the 80's
Coldplay - Viva La Vida
Guster - Two Points for Honesty (starts slow but picks up-- it really motivates me)

Cool down suggestions:
Modest Mouse - Gravity Rides Everything
Badly Drawn Boy - A Minor Incident
Iron and Wine - Flightless Bird, American Mouth

I've been searching some of these on youtube, to see if I could add to my cycling ipod list, and found this:

These are great ideas! Can anyone recommend a download service other than iTunes that they've used with good results? Though I've ripped plenty of songs for my MP3 player, I've never downloaded music before

Thanks!

I've been buying songs of Amazon - usually cheaper than itunes if you are only looking for single songs. It's a pain though because each one shows up individually (which is probably my own fault but I can't figure out how to change it).

Two other songs that work really well:

Girlfriend - Avril Lavigne
Hanging by a Moment - Lifehouse (great for spinning - multiple tempos to work with)
